Will always be our favourite hotel in sharm el sheikh

In the beginning i'd like to thank all the friendly descent clean and polite staff starting from the security to the life guards on the pool and the beach. Special thanks to Mr Mohamed Hegazy who was a great helpful to made our vacation easy and full of fun. Special thanks to Angie the head of the animation team she is a hardworking and brings good vibes to the surroundings. Special thanks to both Mr Ahmed the polite welcoming staff from Mezaaluna restaurant also total appreciation to hesham from the pool lifeguard team , also the brand new toilets every corner in the resort also the smell of their cleanliness was remarkable.

One of my favourite pools was rotana sharm pool but it need to be well maintaned like the rest of the resort. Also i used to like the room service food but this stay i ordered room service many times and they were not acceptable quality for me. Also minority from the staff have a wrong attitude towards egyptians they treats less welcoming like any othe foreign client.

It was generally an enjoyable stay for us and for the kids

A steam iron and an iron table was available in the wardrobe.

Few shadowed places at the sea and also at the pool. Weak air conditioning in the main restaurant. Beverages at the beach and pool bars as per written in the paper delivered by the reception are available till sunset which is 7:30 p.m. while they actually close at 5 p.m. And also the diving center closes at 5 p.m. given the fact that the whether was so hot and some people may prefer to use such facilities after 5 p.m. The kids area is small and the open part is not properly shadowed in such hot weather.

Hotel location and diving center were exceptional.

Hotel location and diving center were exceptional. Diving center staff were very friendly. I fully enjoyed first scuba diving with private guide. Strongly recommended.

Hotel garden view is not recommended. Lots of mosquitoes were at the room and fought them off during nights. Room was not clean and very old. Overall All inclusive drinking items have low quality.

-Beach Escalator out of service, my group had wheelchair guests. Golf cars not readily available - No water in rooms, except first time. Girl from reception argued it was ‘one per stay’!

Worth staying at.

I did not need to step out of the resort. An excellent experience for adults and children. The pharmacy arrived to my room when needed. The water slide was the children's highlight of the trip. The food was delicious and the drinks were fresh.

Worst hotel in Sharm !

Attitude towards guests is very rude , management don’t care about customer satisfaction at all ! Food was awful and the same every day ! We stayed before in Sensatori , Baron resort and Stella di Mare - never had any complains . Special thanks to ‘Silk way ‘ restaurant - they managed to poison us , ruin the evening and take for a ride with the bill ! And both guest relation and management did not care to sort a problem or to apologize ! Thanks for the ruined holiday ! If you have a choice - stay anywhere else but not in Grand Rotana !

It was good but bars are so far not reachable, landscape is nice

Front office staff are very rude persons; and they don't respect guests from booking; they insist on full payment upon arrival and talked to us in unrespected way; there was delay in check in due to arguments; no welcome drink, they were unwelcoming at all ... they do not commit to confirmation .... although the concierge staff are wonderful persons .. restaurant staff are very professional

Expensive and not worth it

Staff was extremely friendly

- the room was not clean at all, i can literally see insects and bugs everywhere in my room dead and alive, there was a dead roach under the sink were they cleaned that part every day and they didn't even bother to remove it - beds were extremely uncomfortable - Breakfast was so bad, no varieties at all, same food every day, didn't taste good at all - jacuzzi was not clean i was so disgusted to use it - definitely not a good value for money

The sea and the beach were excellent.

The sea and the beach were excellent. Special thanks to the club reception for their individual approach.

Attention! If you are travelling with children this hotel may be dangerous for you and especially for your kids. Electric carts run about 40-50 km/h along the promenade where the children play and their parents walk with baby strollers. And the worst thing is that when it gets dark the Egyptian drivers turn off the headlights. That means that they drive their carts in total darkness except for low-luminous lanterns. So neither you see them, nor they - you. I repeat that's dangerous. Special thanks for the WI-FI. The speed 0.05 was actually the fastest speed that we managed to get. You can neither watch videos and photos no have a proper online conference. We had constantly to explain to the restaurant staff what an Ultra All Inclusive Meal Plan was. We had booked 2 Club Rotana rooms and paid for an Ultra All Inclusive Plan, but had constantly to prove that we did not have to pay anything in addition. To that elevators and escalators constantly broke down, so it was quite hard for us to go to another stock as we travelled with a baby stroller. Some years ago this hotel was rather good, but now the hotel management decided to settle foreign tourists who pay $ 300 per room on the same terms as the Egyptian guests, who pay $ 50 (a special fee) for the same type room. So if you are used to a normal 5-star hotel, then unfortunately you’ll find here just a 3-star hotel service as the staff is trying to please Egyptians and their guests from nearby Arab countries. So if you want to visit a hotel where 80% of guests are Egyptians, Lebanese and other wonderful friends from the Middle East, then, that’s the right place. There was not a single European tourist here, just a few guests from Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan. We came from Germany. And we were shocked about their services quality decrease in only a year. And we think that the tendency will continue.

Every thing was awesone from spa to the beach to the pool to the animation team

There was a delay from the house keeping regarding fixing something in the toilet and even after they came and left the problem wasn't fixed

It was good and not bad

1- The location 2- The beach 3- The room view 4- The pool 5- I would like to thank Mr. Mohamad Abd Elaal (the director of front office) because he did his best to make us happy during my stay in the hotel, really he is a professional director.

1- The food was poor and the presentation is bad and not professional. 2- There are some stuff , when you look at them, you feel that they are not happy and don’t smile, like the stuff in the main restaurant, specially the chef who makes the eggs on the breakfast. 3- Turkish coffee and fresh juices aren’t included in all incisive. 4- The furnitures are old and needed to renovations.

Romanza was clean.

Romanza was clean. Overall style of the resort was good and of high quality. Food was OK.

The beach was full of corals which is great for snorkeling but no Sandy's beach means that it's not suitable for beginners and kids. Staff is mostly unprofessional but at least trying to do their best. ( But they couldn't as may be they're not well trained)
